There is something uniquely romantic about wedding vows in the rain. Instead of trying to escape the weather, Quentin and Megan embraced it. The muted skies created beautiful, soft light, while the moisture in the air gave the surrounding landscape a rich, dreamy quality. Rust Manor House provided the perfect setting for those quiet moments together: a historic Virginia estate surrounded by greenery, architecture, and plenty of character. Wedding days rarely go exactly according to plan. There are unexpected moments, changing weather, nervous anticipation, happy tears, and countless little things that could never have been written into an itinerary. But those are often the moments that make the memories.
For Quentin and Megan, September 27th was about more than the perfect weather or perfect photographs. It was about choosing each other and celebrating the life they are building together.
A police officer and a flight attendant. Two careers that ask them to serve, travel, and spend time away from home.
But on this rainy September day in Leesburg, Virginia, they had found their way to the same place.
Home.
And perhaps that’s the best thing about a rainy wedding day. Years from now, Quentin and Megan won’t simply remember that it rained on their wedding day. They’ll remember walking through it together.
