It all started with an ask. After over a decade of working in the wedding industry I have learned the power of the ask. And I can tell you that this event would not have happened had I been to afraid to make the ask. This Raspberry Plain Manor Wedding styled shoot was a culmination of years of hustling and making real relationships with other vendors in the industry. I am all about community and building something together that is meaningful. And asking to be in the spaces I want to be in has made that possible for me.
Even though I am a wedding photographer I really enjoy designing and curating styled shoots like this one. I am a creative through and through and this has been another way for me to have a creative outlet and to help me be a better wedding photographer. I think knowing weddings from all different sides and angles helps me to be better at what I do and capture a wedding more fully.
This design was set to be romantic, warm, traditional with touches of modern, lush and luxurious. I wanted you to walk into the room and feel an emotional response. I think we achieved that with the velvet draping and the romantic florals. Every piece looked intentional and brought the whole space together while still have distinctly different looking table designs.
I am so thankful for the team who brought this whole design together and made this day what it was. I can’t wait to do it again!
