Every wedding day is unique. Of course there are similarities and trends and traditions show up at every wedding but some weddings just feel different and special. Olivia & Tyler’s The View at Bluemont Wedding was one of these weddings. It may have been the beautiful venue, the attire, the antique Porsche, the live band, or a mixture of all of these, but their day was truly one of my favorite wedding days in the 10 years I have been a wedding photographer.
Olivia & Tyler had dreamed of a destination wedding but they really wanted all of their family and friends to attend. So, they looked for a venue that still felt like you were in Italy and The View at Bluemont delivered! Even on a windy and cloudy day the view was absolutely incredible. And inside of the manor was such a special experience. Every corner brought a new experience that transported you and made the experience extra special.
Before their ceremony Olivia & Tyler shared private vows. This has become one of my new favorite moments during a wedding day. Doing vows privately really changes the emotions felt around the vows. It is truly just the two of you making promises to each other without the distraction of all the other people. You can focus on each other and be reminded of why you are here in the first place.
After their gorgeous ceremony they rode off in an antique silver Porsche as their guests walked up to the house. And after a brief intense thunderstorm the guests moved into the ballroom filled with sunlight, a gorgeous view, live music from The Source Band and an Aperol spritz in hand.
You’ll see in the photos but this wedding ABSOLUTELY popped off! These people were ready to party and loved every moment of this day.
