DJ & Sophia are a perfect opposites attract type of couple. DJ is outgoing and Sophia is shy. DJ is in sales and Sophia is an engineer. In fact, DJ took her to Paris for her birthday to propose which is exactly what she told him not to do! Don’t worry, she’s cool with it and everything is good now. haha!
When we first talked they told me the biggest priorities for their wedding day were about people coming together and capturing real moments. They are bringing together two families and they want to capture the raw emotion that comes with all of that. And I’ve got to say, I AM HERE FOR THAT!
They live out in California so I was a little surprised to get an inquiry from them but they decided to get married in Northern Virginia where DJ grew up. And Northern Virginia is a GORGEOUS place to get married.
Their wedding day is JUST around the corner and I am so excited to find all of those little moments where real moments are happening that I can capture on camera. That’s the stuff that really matters.
