Northern VA Wedding Venues

Northern VA Wedding Venues are some of the most beautiful in the country. There’s something for everyone from barns to estate weddings and everything in between.

Today I want to share some of my favorite estate wedding venues in Northern Virginia. All of these are located in or near Loudoun County and are about 1-hour from Washington DC!

The View at Bluemont | Bluemont, VA

The View at Bluemont is a premier wedding and event venue located in the picturesque hills of Bluemont, Virginia. Raspberry Plain Manor | Leesburg, VA

Raspberry Plain Manor is a historic estate dating back to 1731 with a capacity of over 300! The original estate was owned by Thomas Mason, the brother of George Mason (yes, as in George Mason University). It is located right next to the Raspberry Plain Country Club where you can get in a round of golf before wedding festivities and it’s only a few minutes from downtown historic Leesburg.

Their venue is 1-hour from DC and 30 minutes from IAD for quick and easy transport for any loved ones making a long trip for your wedding day.

Black Horse Manor | Warrenton, VA

The historic estate, dating back to the 1850s, offers a perfect blend of elegance and charm, surrounded by picturesque views and manicured gardens. Whether you’re dreaming of a grand celebration, a weekend escape, or an intimate gathering, Black Horse Manor provides the ideal backdrop with its stunning outdoor spaces and elegant ballrooms.

They also have an Inn on the property where you can your bridal party can stay the night before! And that alone is worth doing so you can all be together to celebrate. I mean, who doesn’t love a wedding after party!?

Heigh Torr Estate | Purcellville, VA

Heigh Torr estate in nestled in the beautiful town of Purcellville. Right next to Breaux Vineyards and with 178 acres in Loudoun County it feels like you’re going to the countryside of England. The stone exterior, wooden fencing, and pool all give this venue a unique and luxurious homey feel.

Our Pride & Prejudice shoot there was nothing short of extraordinary as the sunset lit the fields with a romantic glow.

They have a clear top tent to host your wedding day near the heated pool which is a fun place to jump in at the end of the night or use the water for additional floating decor!

Rust Manor House | Leesburg, VA

Rust Manor House is located in Leesburg, VA. This estate is part of Nova Parks and is easily accessible off of Route 7 near downtown Leesburg. With over 68-acres of land, a spacious garden for a ceremony, a grand estate for an indoor cocktail hour, and tent for your reception, it has everything you need for an elegant wedding day.

Birkby House | Leesburg, VA | Northern VA Wedding Venue

Birkby House is located right in the heart of downtown Leesburg. This timelessly elegant venue is truly one of a kind. With the Birkby House as your getting ready space, the brick patio as a ceremony and cocktail hour and their newly built conservatory with 2 chandeliers and a large sky-light, every space you go is worthy of a photo.
