Brandon & Becca’s first date was the beginning of something magical. They met for a drink at a brewery and 4 hours and 2 beers later they were still talking. It was love.
Since then they love to go to the lake together and go on their paddle board together. They even said “I love you” to each other for the first time walking down the paths of Lake Audubon where these photos were taken.
A place isn’t just a place. A place can be filled with memory and bring about emotions and feelings every time you go back. Photos can do the same thing. They are moments in time that bring back all of the emotions you felt when the photo was taken.
So, it seemed fitting to do their engagement session at such a meaningful place to the both of them. The lake was quiet and it felt like it was just the two of them with me paddling beside them in a canoe 😂 This was the first time I had done photos on a lake like that with IN a boat. Luckily, I didn’t tip over and all of my gear stayed perfectly dry and safe.
B&B are getting married in just a few short weeks but they wanted to commemorate this short engaged season before it was gone. I’m so glad we were able to get these photos on such a PERFECT night in the middle of the summer.
